Vacature: Contract Manager (European & Strategic Accounts) - Marketing


Toyota Material Handling is the global number one in the material handeling business.  Since our business is expanding, our European Marketing and sales office needs more resources.  That’s why we’re searching for a talent to manage and coordinate the day-to-day business process for strategic-, major- and medium sized European Key Accounts.  The key task of your team is to support the European Accountmanagers, to perform new business tenders and manage the central administration of the EKA agreements.



As the Manager of the Contract Team you will have to lead, manage and develop the team of contract managers. Support and increase of business volume with strategic and Major Accounts together with Accountmanagers and the network.  Support and contribute tot he overall European Key Account targets and strategy.  Manage and contribute to internal/external projects to strengthen the market position and improve operations.

Your main challenges willl be:

  • Provide leadership and daily coaching of the team(5 HC) based in Willebroek
  • Manage business tenders (RFP, RFQ and RFI), calculations, data compilations and adequate/timely responses
  • Secure & efficient day-to-day business, perform and develop the DOJO process(methodology) and related tools
  • Manage & monitor the quality of the processess (contractimplementation, pricing, …)
  • Manage and/or represent European Key Accounts in the development of digitalization
  • Maintain a good work environment and motivation within the team
  • Develop the skills, competences and quality of individuals/team
  • Accountable fort he achievement of the targets set (individual & team)
  • being a part of the management team(with the European Major Account Manager and Head of Strategic Accounts)


  • Preferably a master’s degree, in management
  • Proven track record in leading, managing and coaching a team succesfully
  • You are experienced in tender management (international contract management is an asset)
  • Experienced in the material handling world within marketing/sales function is an asset (not a must have)
  • You have significant commercial skills and are customer oriented
  • You have good communication skills(clear-brief-sense of urgency)
  • You have a positive and outgoing personality
  • Your English is fluent (verbally and writing) – any other language is an asset
  • You work in a structured way combined with a flexible and pragmatic approach to secure quick wins
  • You are an advanced user in MS Office, CRM-systems, reporting/analytical tools
  • You are open to travel – from time to time and if needed within Europe
