It is important to us that clients can trust us effortlessly.  United talent has always handled personal data with great care, and we will continue to do so in the future.  In order to be able to do our work as well as possible and offer you the best possible service, we collect certain personal data from candidates, clients and users of our services.  It goes without saying that we treat this data with care and manage it in a secure and respectful manner.

United Talent bvba, with its registered office in Steenokkerzeel, Belgium, registered with the Belgian Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number BE0885.619.502 (hereafter United Talent) is responsible for processing your personal data on the website www.unitedtalent.be.

Exactly what data is involved, how long we keep it and for what purpose can be read below in our privacy policy.  Everyone should have control over their own personal data and therefore we want to give everyone the chance to decide which data you want to share with us and which you do not.

As a Belgian company, United Talent complies with the Belgian “Law of December 8, 1992 on the protection of privacy in relation to the processing of personal data”, as amended by the Law of December 11, 1998, as well as the “Law of June 13, 2005 on electronic communications”, the General Data Protection Regulation which came into force on May 25, 2018 and other applicable laws and regulations.

2. Personal data collected

2.1 The data you leave us
On the page https://www.unitedtalent.be/vacature you can leave your data via the button “apply now”.  We store the following data: name, e-mail, phone number.  We only keep this data until the vacancy is filled.  After expiration date, all your data are automatically destroyed and deleted from our database.  This also applies to www.unitedtalent.be/contact.

Ip address: we may collect anonymous or aggregated data of a non-personal nature, such as browser type or IP address, the operating system you use or the domain name of the website through which you came to or leave our website. This enables us to permanently optimize our website for users.

2.2 Personal data communicated by commercial partners
The commercial partners working with United Talent have strict agreements among themselves and strictly follow the law.  Once your personal data from these partners reaches us by email, we take responsibility.  United Talent does not pass on any personal data to third-party partners without your consent.

2.3 The location of collected data
The data we collect is stored in a local, local database.  We do not collect data from Facebook or Instagram.  By using our website, you consent to the temporary use (as long as the vacancy is not filled) of your personal data.

2.4 Mapping your website visits.
On the United Talent and United Talent Coacht website, general visit data is recorded, including the IP address of your computer and the time of retrieval and data sent by your browser. This data is used for analyses of visiting and clicking behavior on the website. United Talent uses this information to improve the functioning of the website.  This data is anonymized as much as possible and will not be given to third parties.

2.5 Cookie policy
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files which are placed on your computer by websites you visit. Cookies are used to make websites function correctly or more efficiently and to collect business and marketing information. Cookies cannot be used to read private data from your computer or intercept passwords.

Functional cookies
These cookies delete themselves when you close your browser. Without these cookies, you will not be able to use the site optimally. They are necessary for the functioning of the website.

Analytical cookies
By using this website you agree to the use of analytical cookies by Google Analytics and the Facebook Pixel. Through Google Analytics and the pixel, anonymous data on surfing behavior are collected. This allows us to see how visitors use the website and improve the website accordingly. These cookies are also used for targeted marketing purposes: to show you relevant content based on your surfing behavior.

How can you delete your placed cookies?

United talent uses Google Analytics to track how users use the website. The information thus obtained, including the address of your computer (IP address), is transferred to Google and stored by them on servers in the United States. Google uses this information to track how our website is used, to provide reports about the website to United Talent.

Google can provide this information to third parties if Google is legally obliged to do so, or insofar as these third parties process the information on behalf of Google. United Talent has no influence on this.

United Talent has not given Google permission to use Analytics information obtained through United Talent for other Google services.

3. Purposes of processing

3.1 General purposes
We always and only process your personal data to fulfill our intended purpose and exercise our services. We use your personal data to contact you before, during and after the selection process.

3.2 Direct marketing and communication to third parties
Your personal data will be kept strictly confidential and in no case communicated to third parties or used for direct marketing purposes.

3.3 Serious violations
Upon request, we may provide your data to the competent authorities (Police and Justice) in case of serious violations of law.

4. Duration, retention and security of data

4.1 Duration.
All personal data will be retained for a period (before, during and after the selection process) necessary to provide the service by United Talent.

4.2 Retention and security.
We guarantee that the security file we maintain when processing personal data is always sufficient, according to the current state of technology, to guard against unauthorized access, disclosure or loss.
Your data and agreement are stored securely in a non-publicly accessible database.

We have implemented the following security measures to reduce the risks of misuse of and unauthorized access to personal data: Anti-virus, Web application firewall, Email inbox and computers and smartphone are password protected, United Talent’s office is locked when no one is present, we never use an unknown and/or open-access Wifi, both websites use a reliable TLS Certificate

5. Confidentiality and Right of Access and Correction

5.1 Confidentiality
United Talent guarantees that it has taken sufficient practical and organizational measures to ensure the confidentiality of data in its internal operation.

5.2 Right of access and correction.
The clients, candidates and users can have his/her personal data corrected or deleted upon simple request. In addition, the user has the right to request at any time that his/her data no longer be used for the purposes for which it is intended.
The user can do so by sending an e-mail to peggy.janssens@unitedtalent.be or by letter accompanied by a copy of your identity card.
You are completely free to communicate your personal data to United Talent or not. However, your personal data are necessary for our services.

5.3 Right to file a complaint
You have the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority, Printing Press Street 35, 1000 Brussels, www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be. This is without prejudice to a remedy before a civil court. Should you suffer damage as a result of the processing of your personal data, you may bring a claim for compensation.

6. Adjustments

It goes without saying that the processing of personal data can evolve over time as a result of amended legislation, technical progress, etc. United Talent reserves the right to amend this privacy policy in the future if necessary. When this happens, United Talent will inform its users in an appropriate manner via the United Talent website.

7. Applicable law and jurisdiction clause

This Privacy Policy is governed, interpreted and implemented in accordance with Belgian law, which is exclusively applicable in the event of any dispute.
The Court of Brussels shall have exclusive jurisdiction to adjudicate any dispute that may arise from the interpretation or execution of this Privacy Policy.

8. Acceptance

By visiting the website or spontaneously sending us your resume by email, you accept all the provisions of this privacy policy and agree that United Talent will collect and process your personal data in accordance with this privacy policy.
